Roles

Who can view, edit, or approve interview packs in AVAR Studio.

Studio admin
Usually Talent Ops or People team.
Can create and edit question banks, scenarios, blueprints, and packs. Manages roles and access.
Talent partner
Frontline recruiter or talent acquisition lead.
Can edit content for agreed roles, run experiments, and request sign-off. Cannot change global settings.
Hiring manager
Leads for each role or team.
Can review and approve packs for their roles. Can see analytics, but cannot edit question libraries.
Compliance / Ops
People & culture, legal, or QA teams.
Can review and comment on content, see governance and audit views, and block packs from going live.

Pack access

Simple view of who owns each pack and who else can see or use it.

How to use this screen
Set one clear owner for each pack, then decide who else needs to see or use it. Keep it simple: start with Talent as the owner and add hiring managers and compliance as viewers.
Tip: most teams only need 3–4 roles. Avoid one-off custom roles unless you really need them. Next: use the Pack assignment screen to decide where each pack is used in live recruitment flows.
